With a compact, rider-focused design, the A1-1 is out of sight – and out of mind – until you need it most. Integrating a static CE Level 1 viscoelastic back protector into the vest to house the control unit, the Ai-1 replaces your traditional back protector to minimize bulk, while bearing a 5-star SRA rating certified to CE prEN 17092-6 for protective riding gear. The fully self-contained In&Motion airbag removes the need to “repack” the airbag after deployment, with only the compressed inert gas cartridge needing to be replaced in a few simple steps, and tested using the included adapter. The Ai-1 can withstand up to three separate deployments before Klim recommends sending the vest in for in-house inspection.

The Ai-1 Airbag Vest is the first tether-less airbag to hit the market, ridding you and your machine of extra connection points and making all phases of your next adventure that much easier. With acontinuous battery life exceeding 25 hours of riding, you’ll be able to keep cruising along without having to worry about charging your vest out on the road. The system also has an automatic standby mode that reduces battery drain when the vest is no longer in motion, meaning you can spend more time enjoying your travels and less time pressing buttons. Once the battery is drained, a 100% charge only takes about 3 hours.

Intuitive Tech

Hitting the streets or cruising serene dirt roads with a heightened level of protection has never been easier. The In&Box module features a simple single button control with color coded indicator lights providing a visual status of the vest. The My In&Box app provides heightened insights with a user friendly interface to interact with, seeing real data and selecting your riding mode.

Taking some additional fuss out of the equation, the In&Box unit automatically updates to the latest software via WiFi, with a manual update process available as well.
